Aside from the visuals, this whole movie was a whirlwind of emotion. I don't think any movie can ever top this one (at least in the case of visual effects). Everything about this movie was spectacular, from the makeup and costume design to the score, to the choreography, and to the visuals and cinematography. This movie was one of the most insane things I have watched. They also said that it may push a mentally unstable person over the edge, and as a mentally unstable person myself, this made me feel hope, and ultimatelt gave me a good feeling out of theatre. The theme is that nothing matters, so make the most of it and live your life to the fullest. Yes, the theme is that nothing matters, but it’s not in a negative way. The protagonist saves them from this negative mindset, and ultimately changes their view on life.

The main antagonist is tired of life, is depressed, and wants to be free of it. Most of these scenes are within the first act of the movie, and pass quickly.Īlso, I saw a parent complain that the theme of the movie was negative, saying that the theme is that “nothing matters and we are all here by chance and life is nothing but pain and chaos.”
There is also a scene where a girl falls into a pole and she becomes blind from it, but no blood is shown. Other than this, there is a scene where a pen is shoved up someones nose, but no blood is shown. I got out of the theatre a couple of hours ago, and the only scenes that i remember being graphic both violently and sexually is one fight scene where the antagonist uses dildos to fight someone (the camera gets really close and pauses on the dildos for around 7 seconds), and one where multiple people try to fight to get a butt plug inside of them (no nudity is shown in this scene at all.) There is a scene where someone puts a ball gag in their mouth for sexual gratification (he is fully clothed.) This is where I explain why this is rated R) (Minor spoilers below for the rest of this. There are many emotional scenes and it makes you feel great. The message and characters of this movie are so profound and heartwarming. If you don’t let your kid see this film just because of the rating, you are letting them miss out on one of the greatest films they’d have ever watched. There is only 1 or 2 scenes that are rated R, and in a fast paced movie like this it’s virtually nothing.
